Accompanying

Philip spends most of his musical life accompanying groups and individuals.

Although based in the Midlands, Philip travels around the country playing for recitals, classes, individuals, concerts, exams and other events.

He is the accompanist to Cantamus, the internationally renowned girls' choir with whom he has recently played in Spain, Belgium and China. In July 2009 Philip toured Penang and Singapore with the choir, where they won the overall Prize in the Voyage of Songs International Festival.

He is also part of the duo, 'The Parnell Phil.' with the saxophonist Alistair Parnell. Their vibrant performances bring about a reinvention of classical music through both traditional and contemporary medium.

Philip plays for Musical Theatre workshops and classes and for Ballet classes, two art forms about which he is becoming increasingly passionate.

He is the accompanist at Nottingham Trent University.
