For Choral Societies

Philip travels throughout Britain visiting Choral Societies either for an evening event or as part of a days workshop.

He provides stunning presentations on the choral work being rehearsed and performed. These include a look at the life of the composer, his output and how the particular piece fits into that output. He specialises in works by Bach and Handel.

The audio visual presentations include people who the composer knew and relevant places, and usually include film clips also. Recordings of the work are also heard to illustrate points.

Choral members report back that they have a totally new perspective on the work and say how much the presentation has enhanced their understanding and therefore their performance.

Most societies charge their members a small amount for the evening and offer them some refreshment at the interval. This covers Philip's fee and sometimes makes a little bit extra for the funds.

Philip brings all the necessary equipment for the presentation and will even produce the flyers for the event.
